　　Wrong：别说话吧，广播开始了。

　　Right：别说话了，广播开始了。

　　“别”means to stop someboby from doing something. The interjection “吧”is improper here. One should use the interjection “了”with“别”to stop an action that has already taken place.

　　Example

　　Wrong：时间不早了，大家别再讨论。

　　Right：时间太早了，大家别在讨论了

　　When the verbal predicate is preceded by “别”in combination with the adverb“再”which denotes continuity,“了”is usually required at the end of the sentence.
